The Puy de Sancy with its 1886m dominates all the peaks of the Massif, it therefore offers a unique panorama of the Massif du Sancy. The Puyb de Sancy dominates the glacier valleys of the Massif du Sancy, that is to say Val de Courre Valley, the Valley of the Salt Fountain, the Chaudefour Valley and the Haure Dordogne Valley.

How to get to the top of Puy de Sancy?
At Mont Dore, you can take the Sancy cable car which drops you off near the summit, reachable by a 20-minute walk to the top.
From Super Besse, take the Perdrix cable car and follow the marked path to Puy de Sancy.
From Super Besse or Mont-Dore, hiking trails lead to the summit of Puy de Sancy.
