GR®30 - from Bourboule to Puy Gros
The departure of the GR30 from Gare de la Bourboule marks the beginning of this adventure. The climb to the Murat le Quaire plateau offers a first impression of the beauty of the surrounding area. Leaving the majestic Banne d'Ordanche on the left, the path leads hikers towards Puy Gros, offering a breathtaking view of the Massif du Sancy, Mont Dore and the Massif Adventif.
Gr30 - From Puy Gros to Lac de Guery
The route continues crossing the Guery plateau, where Lake Guery is revealed in all its splendor. Continuing, we leave behind the viewpoints of Roches Tuilière and Sanadoire to climb the Plateau de l’Aiguiller, more precisely the Puy de L’Ouire. From the summit of Puy de l'Ouire, the panoramic view of the Sancy Massif is simply breathtaking.
Gr30 - From Lac de Guery to Orcival
The Gr30 then heads towards Orcival, passing by the charming Lac de Servieres. Upon arrival in Orcival, hikers are rewarded with a lovely viewpoint over the Basilica, which adds a touch of spirituality and tranquility to this wilderness adventure.
